Happy Birthday Sweet Sophia

My baby girl is 2 today....I can't believe I have a 2 year old. She is the most magnetic child I have ever met. People are drawn to her. She puts a smile on my face daily.

I thank god daily that I get to be her mommy!

Here she is the day after Christmas, she got Disney Dress Up clothes and Katelyn was playing with her. How Beautiful is she!

What a great feeling to have Sophia home with us this year. Here are the 3 kids on Christmas eve, waiting patiently to open their presents from Frank's side of the family.

New Outfit, FFF & Build A Bear

This first picture is my FFF and her new outfit from Christina and her family. It is actually a 12 month outfit and has pants to fit, but they kept falling off her butt so I put tights on her and wahlaaa, a sweater dress. That is a wet spot on the top of the sweatshirt. I can't keep her hands out of her mouth.

Even though she was all prettied up and ready to go, she has a bad cough and didn't feel too good. Her and I spent the day together.
And I had a coupon for $5.00 off a $10.00 Build a Bear, so we made a trip to the mall just to do Sophia's first Build A Bear, She picked the bunny and we just put a shirt on her with a crown on it. Fitting I think!

I let Sophia open her presents from Christina and her family this morning after the big kids went to school. They can open theirs when they come home. She got a adorable outfit that she will wear on Saturday to a Christmas party and she got the most adorable little fabric doll house. It has a handle and zips up and says SOPHIA on the outside of it. Inside it has a doll with interchangable clothes that she is loving playing with. It even has a teddy bear. She loves it. Thanks Christina, Jody, Kelsey,Felecia,Clara and Aiden!

Luckiest Person in the World

Tuesday I had a rough day, and I was down right grumpy. Imagine my surprise when I heard a knock on the door and a gentleman said "I have flowers for you, Mrs. Wesie" I said, "Nope, probably not for me, I have not been very nice today" and he said "Well, someone thinks you deserve them" I opened the card and burst in to tears. This adoption has brought me many friends, but I have been lucky enough to be blessed with a "sister"

Christina has listened to me complain more times then she should have, she drove 5 hours to visit me with a sick kid, she stood beside me and laughed in Target when everyone was looking at us like we were let out of the looney bin. The friendship I have found with you girl lasts a life time. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family.

Now I have to let the kids open their gifts tonight, they say it's not fair I got one of mine and they haven't gotten to open theirs..LOL

New Earrings and a New Time Out spot....That is working!

Miss Sophia is a bit under the weather, she has a bad cold and runny nose and cough. Friday Aunt Lori and I took her shopping and decided she needs pretty ears. So, Aunt Lori had Sophia's Ears pierced. And what a trooper she was. She cried all of 10 seconds and then showed everyone that wanted to see them.

Miss Sophia is getting good at throwing fits....so we found a new time out spot that works....As much as it breaks my heart and looks like the walls are going eat her up. If she is throwing a fit and I say do you wanna stand in the corner? She will either say no and stop or go get in the corner herself. We say, "As soon as your done then you can get out and believe it or not, it works. She stops and all is better=)
Even Zoe the kitty is checking on her..LOL

Ok, I couldn't pick just one. I went to the store the other night and came home to this little cutie and the first time she has been in a night gown. Kate gave her a bath and fixed her hair and put her cute jammies and slippers on.I love her cheesy smiles!

NE Ohio Christmas Party
