Ok, So we thought instead of fighting with the kids to go some where and have pictures taken, we decided we would put Santa hats on them and just take the pictures at home...What the heck were we thinking?

Yes, Katelyn and Frankie have CAVS shirts on, but in the picture we used, you can't see that it says CAVS on it..LOL

So, I get up all excited to go pick them up from Walgreens and I get a message on my cell phone that says, Hi Miss Lisa, our photo machine is down and we aren't sure how long it will take to be fixed, we will call you when it's up and running and your photos are done....URGHH!

Frankie got a new Nerf toy, It didn't take Sophia long to get in it and was having a blast!

We were at the cabin last weekend and there was deer in the yard and Sophia watched Frankie look through the binoculers and 1/2 hour later this is how I found her...She always makes us laugh!!

And of course a great big HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY MISS DEVON!

*Officially a US Citizen & More*

Sophia's Appointment was at 840am on Friday and we made it with no time to spare, thanks to Cleveland Traffic. I spent loads of time making sure I had every single document they asked for...And guess what? They never asked to see any of them. We went it to a room,a guy asked for her green card, swore me in so I could sign her papers, asked a few questions, I signed a few things, and we went back in to the waiting area and 10 minutes later he called us back in and we signed 2 more papers and he gave Sophia a flag, that she proudly smiled and waved around to everyone that would look. And he said Congratulations and we were done. Here's a few pictures....We were in and out a hour, so we got to look around the city some..

Baby girl sleeping on the way home....she had such a big day and didn't even realize it. It really was the greatest feeling to be all done.

I cried while watching her sleep, It was a long journey, but now I no longer have a empty void. I feel Completed!

Very Special Day

Friday we head to Cleveland for Sophia's Certificate of Citizenship Hearing. We are taking Katelyn and Frankie out of school so we can all go.We started this journey as a family and we will take the last and final step as a family as well.
