We were blessed to have the best Foster Family for Sophia. Since Sophia has been home we have continued contact with them weekly. They have become a part of our family. They have been a wealth of information to us and have been able to tell us about Sophia's first 13 months that we missed and they have been able to send us pictures from that time as well. We are very lucky and honored to call them a part of our famiy.

The weekend after they gave Sophia to us, they ran in a Marathon, and won a medal. They told us they wanted Sophia to have that medal since thinking of her gave them the strength to run it.

Thursday of last week we got the mail and were so excited to find a small package from them, we knew it was the medal and Frank and I were both so excited. But what we didn't know is in with the medal was a birthday card for Katelyn and a beautiful necklace. We both were in tears. It is stunningly beautiful and she was so excited to have it.

Sophia got a cold for Easter...and shared with Mommy and Brother had a fever of 102 during the night but seems ok now...Keeping my fingers crossed that it is short lived!

This was last year and Sophia's 1st Easter Home. She was so excited but yet didn't know what was going on.

When I look back at these pictures, I feel so much happiness but yet so sad. She was so little.

Why can't we freeze time and keep them small a bit longer just to savor it? If you figure out how to do that? Please let me know.

New clothes...Pictures...Ticked off

All in one day!

At the mall one day Frankie spun a Give away wheel at Sadies and won me a Bronze package. Free 8x10,2-5x7's & 8 wallets No sitting fee for one child and $19.99 for 2-4 So I thought, awesome I will get the 3 kids done in the barn room. Had my friends make Sophia's new bandana dress and bow and got the big kids matching shirts, all matched up and ready to go.

We get there and I was, am so disappointed. The girl that took the pictures, didn't know what she was doing and was asking me how I wanted the kids pictures? How to sit them? No Props? Totally unorganized and only took 10 minutes. And when she found out that I wasn't ordering any more pictures she was down right rude.

Even though I didn't pay for the pictures, I am still tossing up contacting the manager of the store? Any suggestions?

The Girl Loves to Eat...

Sophia can put down some food. The girl is not afraid to eat and there isn't much she won't eat.

Every Sunday we make Chicken and potatoes....Here she is..Double fisted Eater!

She woke up this morning and I went in and snuggled in her bed with her and she said Love you Mommy and I just thought....I am so lucky!
